1Who we are

Behtr AI is a personal wellness and growth app with AI coaches for fitness, food, sleep, stress, habits, work and more. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and the choices you have. Behtr is a wellness app, not a medical service, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition.

2What we collect

• Account: if you sign in with Google, your name, email and profile photo from Google, used only to sign you in and keep your data safe.
• Profile you share: name, age, gender, height, weight, language, habits, goals, and, only if you choose to share them, your work and income range.
• Coach chats and calls: the messages you send, short notes the coaches keep so they remember you, and the audio of voice calls, which is turned into text to reply and is not kept as a recording.
• Logs: meals, water, workouts, sleep, check-ins and progress you enter.
• Food photos: read to estimate the meal, then deleted. Only the estimate is saved.
• Lab reports: the file is read to pull out your marker values, then deleted. Only the values and their explanation are saved.
• Wearable data, if you connect it: from WHOOP, your recovery, sleep, strain, workouts, heart rate, HRV and body measurements.

3How we use it

• To give you coaching, plans and replies that fit you.
• To show your progress, scores and trends.
• To keep the app working, safe and free of abuse.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your health data for advertising.

4WHOOP and other devices

Connecting WHOOP is optional. When you connect, WHOOP asks for your permission, and we receive only the data you allow. We use it only to personalise your coaching and show it back to you. We store the connection securely, and only our server can read it. You can disconnect from the Devices screen at any time. We then stop syncing and delete the stored connection, and you can also ask us to delete the synced data.

5Services that help run the app

To work, the app sends the minimum data needed to a few service providers. They process it for us and may not use it for their own purposes.

• Supabase: database, sign-in and server functions.
• Groq and Google Gemini: AI models that write coach replies, read meal photos and read lab reports.
• Sarvam AI: speech and Indian-language voice for coach calls.
• WHOOP: only if you connect it.
• Expo: app delivery and updates.

6How long we keep it, and your choices

• We keep your data while your account is active.
• You can see and edit your profile and your coaches' notes in the app.
• You can ask for a copy of your data, or for your account and all its data to be deleted. We act on these requests within 30 days.

7Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Each person can read only their own data, and device connection keys are readable only by our server. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you if a breach affects you.

8Children

Behtr AI is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

9Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and tell you in the app if the change is important.
